Try It is a one-time 1-1/2 hour session and is exactly what it says. You get a quick introduction to wheel throwing …then you try it. You will get the experience of using a pottery wheel and we will help you form a bowl.
You pick a glaze and it will be trimmed, glazed and fired for you to pick up in a couple of weeks.
Our classes are open to age 18 and up.
$90 per person (limit of 2 people)
If you are considering signing up for a 6-week class, a Try It class will give you a bit of a head start. You can take a class solo, or it’s a fun activity to do with a friend. If you take a Try It Class and then register for a 6-week pottery class within 3 months, you will receive a free 25# bag of clay!

Policies
Please wear appropriate clothing (we provide aprons), trim your fingernails, tie back long hair and remove rings, bracelets and watches.
You are paying for the pottery wheel experience. In most cases you will have a successful bowl, but that is not guaranteed.
There is a $25 fee for “no show” or cancelling less than 8 hours before scheduled class. (A 3.5% credit card processing fee is charged for all cancelled credit card charges.)
