Last load for “Empty Bowls”

The last of the bowls that we made here are on their way to Empty Bowls.  I believe our total bowls donated was 151.

A huge thank you to Mark and the people here at Throwing Mud who worked very hard to throw, trim, and glaze all these bowls.  Also to thanks to some of our students who donated clay to be used for the bowls, and Clay Art Center who also donated clay.

Next Saturday, November 19th, is the Empty Bowls fundraiser for the Emergency Food Network at Charles Wright Academy from 1 to 4 p.m.

The Emergency Food Network has been working since 1982 “to provide a reliable food supply so that no person in Pierce County goes hungry.” Each month in Pierce County, more than 140,000 people seek emergency food assistance. They provide food and other essentials at no cost to over 65 food banks, hot meal sites and shelters for distribution to low-income families and individuals.

Love your beautiful bowls! I bought 26 at Empty Bowls and believe the majority of them are yours. 13 of them are signed with a T in a Circle. Who is it that did such awesome work?

Wanted to share how much my husband and I love the bowls we got!

    Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
